Tyler started surfing almost thirty years ago and then became hooked on Stand Up Paddling while watching Laird Hamilton paddle at his home beach in Malibu. Since then he has paddling almost daily having acquired many certifications for Paddling. He has professionally trained and taught hundreds of individuals. He is Paddle Fit Certified and is an ASI graduate (Academy of Stand up Paddle Instruction). Tyler has a unique ability to make anyone feel comfortable in the ocean on a board. He is happily married to his wife Christy and is the Father of one. With a huge fleet of equipment and almost daily testing, he has a well developed understanding of the products that are available. He has been a tremendous help to us developing Groundswell Supply and we consider him a great friend.

Chris Ahrens began his love affair with the ocean in 1959. He is an author, surfer, traveler, and husband. For the past 30 years Ahrens has written for every major surfing publication in the world and written three popular books of short surf stories. He recently released his first novel Twilight in the City of Angels (www.perelandrapublishing.com ). His way of communicating history and story is beloved by many. He surfs regularly at his home beach in Cardiff CA and lives with his wife Tracy and their cat Clara. We are grateful for the opportunity to work with Chris and look forward to sharing many of his short stories and historical writing with the Groundswell community.
